Enniscorthy Castle - Wexford

Enniscorthy Castle is located in the middle of Enniscorthy town. The castle was built in the 13th century and has been occupied by Norman knights, English armies, Irish rebels and prisoners, and local merchant families. Inside you can see many exhibitions. In the dungeon you can see the Swordsman medieval wall art. There is amazing view at the top of the castle of Enniscorthy town, Vinegar hill and the surrounding.

The castle is one of the longest inhabited castles in Ireland.
